Advice for babysitters
Before you agree to take a babysitting job with a new family it's important that you get as much information as you can about the potential job. Decide which family best suits you and your experience.
After initial contact, many parents will request that they meet with you before offering the position, most probably in their own home. Use this opportunity to get as much information as you can about the babysitting arrangements and the children you will be looking after. Make sure you are happy with what is required of you before you accept a job. By asking questions you will prevent any confusion or problems later on, either on your part or on the part of the parents.
