I am a mother of two beautiful twin girls. I run a bar and a restaurant with my parents and i also run a company in Dundalk which is why we(me and my parents) need a nanny for my twins. They are miracle babies and their future and well being is of utmost importance to me and my parents. However generally we are very easy going people with, what I'd like to think, really good hearts and souls. The girls are 3 years and 8 months. they were born prematurely at 26 weeks (4 months too early) so they differ from full term babies. They have yet to develop eloquence. While they are very smart and understand 4 languages they don't speak English clearly which is why they are attending occupational and speech therapy to find the trigger that will get them talking. They go to bed relatively early at 9pm without a bother. they generally tend to wake up at around 7.30-9 am they then have their milk and vitamins followed by breakfast. After breakfast we try to get them out for a walk around the estate that has a small park and fully accessible GAA pitch and is very child friendly. Once they come back they eat lunch and go for a short nap of 1.5hrs - 3hrs. They generally eat their dinner at 5pm. Both girls perfectly understand that "no" is "no" but, they will still try to test the boundaries once in a while, if only to make sure that the rules of the house did not change in the space of an hour or less. They are very engaging and loving. if you're a person that loves hugs and cuddles they will certainly deliver :) ! If you might be interested in extra funds we would also greatly appreciate if you could help out around the house. Mainly the kitchen after girls' mealtimes and the floors as they tend to run around a bit. The girlies will help with putting their toys away as they like to tidy together and the tidy environment as well as an organised mess. And we tend to clean the floors (kitchen, hall and playroom) 2 times a week. Girls clothes are also washed and dried by us but may need Ironing once or twice a week - so basically all the work would be related to the girls really. The hours are generally flexible. Main objective is Tuesday through to Saturday evening as the family business is a bar and a restaurant. however we would like to accommodate in terms of hours per day and occasionally (during some bank holidays or very pressured days) we may require you to stay later or perhaps overnight. However as stated above we are reasonable people who are simply looking for a person to look after and love our little angels as much as we love them and to provide attentive love and care while we are working.
