My name is Jasmine, I'm 21 years old. I'm a second year student studying architecture in UCC. I'm from Crookstown near Macroom, but I moved to cork city for college and am living near UCC. This summer 2017, I spent three months in Italy, teaching English to children. I would have a class of up to fifteen kids, we would do lessons in the morning and games and activities in the evening. I moved to a different location each week, I had such an incredible time and it taught me so much about caring for children. I have always loved minding children, my mum works as a child minder so I have been helping to care for children from a very young age, and I started babysitting independently when I was 14. Over the years I have been a babysitter for a few different families with kids between the ages of 1 year to 13 years old. Before moving to town, I had been babysitting a little girl in my area most Saturdays for 5 years. I love art and anything creative and would always encourage artistic activities when I'm babysitting. Most of the other part time jobs I have done over the years have included interacting with children. I work in the Opera House during the Christmas panto, I have worked in Cafe's and Restaurants and I have done two weeks work experience in a Montessori. I am able to give references if requested.
