My name is Keisha and I am very interested and keen to be your Au Pair/live out Au pair. I've known for many years that I wanted to come to Ireland and be a nanny over there. And now, with both of my current nanny jobs I am working in Vancouver, Canada; I thought I would take the chance to come down and work there. My visa has been sent in - and I am in the process of booking a flight for beginning of July/mid July. I have a passion for working with kids and also because I am very intrigued by your beautiful country. I've met a lot of great people from Dublin and they go on - and on about how wonderful it is over there; so I'd like to take the chance and follow my dreams and bring my nanny work over there! I'm 22, from Haiti - and very out going, bubbly, caring, and patient and a very happy/positive person who knows what she wants. I have been working with 2 families full time - but one is moving to London and the others the kids are going into full time school. Which is why I wanted to take the chance and finally move to Ireland to continue my work minding children in a country I have always admired. My boyfriend is actually from Dublin, and he's gotten me into the whole culture, and spirit of things. I have 9 years of experience and have been babysitting since I was 13; then I became a camp counselor at Camp Stillwood for 2 years and that is what brought and directed me to the childcare field. I tried working in the restaurant industry for 2 years, and the whole time whenever a child came in and we interacted it really made me change my work direction and I jumped back into nannying. I have babysat, and nannied for dozens of family around Vancouver (they actually pass around my contact number now because of the great experience I've had with them and their kids). I'm currently working with 2 boys aged (2.5 and 5), and the other family is new and it's with a 16 month old (yay! babies), and a 4 year old boy. It is super fun. My work is life - and I put every fiber into making sure everyone is having a safe, fun, time that also involves exploring and teaching them day by day. Art, dress up, lots of book reading, walks, parks, take them on outings to the zoo/science world, play groups etc. I'm a very active person so I like to be an active nanny as well with my little ones. When I come to Ireland and join you and your family, if it is a good fit; I want to come, not only as an employee but as part of your family as well. I like to build great relationships with the parents because I find that is an important quality of the job - as some people forget about that. I believe that family is the most important thing in our lives, so how great would it be to have a family in Ireland AND Canada? I would be a great Au pair/ live out nanny because I am a very committed and humble person. I always try to do my best for everyone, and keep everyone happy and comfortable. I will always give as much love and support as I can. I think your children and I would be a great fit because I am humble, patient, fun, love exploring and learning with them as well as keeping them active, safe, and happy.
