I am currently doing QQI Level 6 course in Advanced Supervision in Early Childhood abs will be finished at the end of April. I will have Level 6 Certificate, Garda Vetting, Certificate in First Aid and Manual Handling. I am qualified to work with children from 0-6 years as professional supporting their learning and development through play and enjoyable activities. I'm also aware of children's care needs such as healthy eating, rest times and importance of outdoor play. I will also socialise children by taking them to park and playground, to local library and shops as children learn communication and socialisation through activities like that. I am mother of 8 year old daughter who is nice and we'll mannered, happy child who gets along very well with peers. Last 2 years I have been full time student in childcare and have done 500 hours in Montessori Pre-School as part of my work experience. I have been awarded with 'Student of the Year' award last year when I was doing QQI Level 5 course in Early Childhood Care and Education. Before that I was a childminding a little girl for 2 years. The environment where children will be spending time will be adapted to suit their needs and be safe for them. I have safe, enclosed garden for outdoor play and games. I am looking to be registered as childminder with The National Childminding Association of Ireland after receiving my full award. I don't drive but live locally with easy walking access to town center. I'm orginaly from Latvia and have been living in Ireland for 5 years, my English is good and my daughter speaks better in English than in Latvian :) Will have references from my course coordinator, employer with whom I'm doing my work experience at the moment.
