Hello! I am a graduate student at Boston College in the United States who will be arriving in July 2017 to work for one year. I have a Bachelor's in Social Work and am currently pursuing my Master's in the same field. I have over a decade of childcare experience and spent the past two years (one full time and one part time) working in primary schools with children who have special needs. In addition to this, I ran an after-school geography club that may or may not have be created just to see their reactions when they tasted unfamiliar foreign snacks. I completed an emergency medical response course which included CPR/AED training as well as more demanding interventions for situations that I hope to never encounter. I truly enjoy spending time with kids, it is never a dull moment! I am also an animal lover, an avid cook, and a huge fan of the outdoors. I am hoping to find either a social work position that is relevant to my field that can be supplemented by occasional babysitting hours or a long term childcare position that will allow me to still volunteer in nonprofit work a few days a week.
