I am passionate about kids and I would like to have the experience of working as child-minder or au pair live in or live out. Whenever I go to the park, I enjoy watching the kids play and and if possible, I enjoy playing with them. This makes me happy! Therefore, I am looking for a family that would be happy to have me with them and work for them. When it comes to childcare experience, I have looked after children in informal contexts. I have been helping my friends take care of their children while I was in Brazil. I did this because I love being around children, I always have fun with them. I am very kind and patient with children, but I know how to be firm when it is necessary, in order to keep the adequate discipline. I like to play with children inside and outside, take them to the park, make manual activities, such as handicrafts, paintings, drawings, etc. Furthermore, when the kids are with me, I really enjoy providing a very fun and yet educational experience, stimulating them to develop their skills. My name is Isabela, I am a 26 years old student from Brazil and I have been living in Dublin for 1 year. It has been a great experience; I really like Ireland and its people! In this moment, I work as a volunteer at a charity shop in Dublin 1 and I have been enjoying it a lot, because I have discovered that I can be also an excellent shop assistant. I have been very helpful to my boss during this time that I am in the store, always taking a proactive stance, suggesting changes and making the changes. Besides being always attentive to the needs of our customers. I come from a family of 4: my mother is a primary school teacher, my father is self-employed and my older brother works at a multinational company from Brazil as Industrial electrician. I hold an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and I am postgraduate in Logistics. I used to work as Office Assistant in my field in Brazil. I came to Ireland in order to improve my English skills, as well as because I have decided to get out of my comfort zone and to face new challenges. I have an advanced English level. Therefore, to achieve my goals I intend to stay in Dublin for 1 more year. I can help children with their homework if it is necessary. In my spare time, I take pleasure in studying, being with my friends, visiting different places in Dublin and going for walks in parks when the weather allows me to. I study from 9am to 1pm in Dublin 2, near to Merrion square. So, I am available to work in the afternoon or in the evening and I can work on weekends as well, when it will be necessary.
