Dear, host family, I am 24 years old I have been working with kids since I was 17 years old. I have been working with kids ( au pair and Teacher) since I started Law School in Brazil and had to work to afford my studies. My fist experiences working as an au pair made me realized how much I enjoy working with kids, so it helped me to figure out what kind of profession I would like to hand. So I decided to become a Teacher. Since then I have been working looking after and teaching kids and teenagers. My last job was teaching kids (from 3 years old to 10 years old) and Teenagers (from 11 years old to 17 years old in an English school). I am currently working as an au pair in Ireland, I look after of a lovely 15 months old boy, called Liam. My current host family is moving back to the United States, so that’s the reason I am looking for a new family right now. While I am working as an au pair I always try to stimulate the kids to be creative and have an active life. I think a good au pair not simply take care of the children, but helps them to improve their abilities, and because of this I like to stimulate the kids to be outdoors, doing picnics, walking, practicing some sports, like swimming. If the kids love swimming they have found another person who loves swimming and a person able to swim with them. Working with Kids demands creativity, patience, organization and energy, skills that I have.
