My name is Danielle Markey I am 22 and living in Monaghan town. I am currently seeking work as a child minder, after I finished my GCSE's I went on to lower sixth and completed a BTEC Level 3 in Child Care. while I was studying this course 2 days a week I went and helped out in a primary school while I was here I provided support to children with mathematics, reading and writing on an individual, class or small group basis, give extra help to children with mild learning difficulties, motivated and encouraged the children in their school work, assist in correcting work and also helped out on school trips and other activities. I enjoy working with children and find it to be an extremely rewarding experience. I feel that I have all the necessary qualities that make a good babysitter. I make sure that when I am working I take great care and exercise all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the children. I am reliable and enthusiastic child minder, I have spent a lot of time looking after family and family friends children over the years. I have been involved in doing activities with children such as homework, reading, drawing, playing and taking them out the park/shops. I am multi-skilled and happy to teach children, and help with homework as well during the time I spend with them. I am also happy to tidy up after them and cook for them. I have a friendly and approachable approach but I tend to keep my authority by making it clear what is not good behavior. I am myself very respectful to everybody home and house rules while I am working.
