Hello boys and girls, I heard that your parents are looking for a nice and open minded Nanny, so what about me? May I introduce myself? My Svenja, I'm a 25 year old girl from a country named Germany. When I was younger I went to Ireland several times with my parents, and totally fell in love with your country and all the lovely fairies and leprechauns I met during my visits. We do actually speak another language where I come from, but I started learning English when I was 10 and although my English isn't perfect I do my very best. I even went to Ireland by myself when I was 16 to improve my English and after I finished school I went to Australia (yep, the country with the Kangaroos and Koalas) for a whole year. When I came back from Kangarooland I wanted to become a teacher so I started going to Uni for two years and studied German and English for children in primary school aged 6-10. Since I also really enjoyed working with younger children I changed my mind and decided to also start an apprenticeship to become a Kindergarten teacher for children aged 0-6. I´ll finish my apprenticeship in early September 2017 and I'm looking forward to a new adventure. Although I haven't worked as a nanny before I gained a lot of experience, I leaned how to take care of up to 25 children at once so I should definitely be able to take care of you / and your siblings! I would love to play, sing, read book and do some crafty stuff with you. I also love to cook and bake and although I'm quite good at it, I could always need a little helper. Maybe we could also do some excursions together like going on playground nearby, to a zoo or a swimming pool? No worries, I'm also able to drive a car (even on the left side of the road) so we don't have to walk everywhere and I would even be able to do the school run!
