Hello, I'm Alana and originally from NZ, and have been living in Ireland for the last 13 years! I have 2 girls who are 4 and 6 and are great friends and love playing together. We live in a lovely village called Sallins, which is near the canal and has good shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Naas town is about 10 mins away by bus and has more shops/bars/restaurants and also a language school. At the end of the street there is a train into Dublin city centre ( takes 25 mins ). We like to go to the park, cook, bake, play and go to the cinema. You would have a large double bedroom overlooking the garden, WIFI and use of a bicycle, you would have weekends off. If you are looking at taking language lessons this can be facilitated into your day. There is a gym and sports facilities nearby. My eldest child is in Senior Infants, hours are 9.15-2pm and my youngest in Montesorri from 9-12. Light housework and cooking will be required in this role. Breakfast, school lunches and some dinners will be required. The girls love baking, arts and crafts and also have great imaginations, they like dress ups and role playing. They also love flying kites, going for walks, to the park etc. I work full time in sales which would be on the road. About once a month I will need to overnight down the country, and few times a year (3-4) I may be required to overnight for 2-3 nights.This role requires approx. 35 hr per week. The girls dad is a big part of their lives and we all get on well as a family. He normally visits the girls 2 nights a week and has them every second weekend. Working week would be Monday- Friday.
