We are a professional couple working in agriculture looking for a caring, responsible and experienced au-pair to care for our three young children – A 10yr old and 3yr old boy and a 7 month old girl. We are busy family and very energetic. We are out going and very friendly. We have a horse yard and love horses. Everything we do revolves around horses and we love it. I am looking for a "mom's help";, someone to help me take care of our of 3 children while they learn and have fun. They are at a great age and are loving, caring and great fun. Our oldest boy has 5 ponies, which he loves very much. He rides them out everyday and competes most weekends. His no.1 pony is called Ronan but all 5 have a very special place in his heart. Our 2nd boy has one pony; Shelby. He loves her too bits, and doesn't like to share her!! It's very cute to watch. Both our boys are outdoor children, they love it. Our little princess is like her brothers, she loves the outdoors too, and loves to watch the horse's and ponies. It is important that you too like animals. We have many farm animals, but mainly horse and dogs that are close to the house. We have 7 dogs that are all outdoor dogs. One of the dogs recently had 10 pups, so we also have 10 puppies running around. But these will be re-homed soon. We live in a brand new house. It's a new build which we moved into in October 2018. This has all the latest mod con's and wifi. We look forward to welcoming you into our home. We have never had a nanny or au-pair so we are excited to start something new! We are a young energetic family that loves the outdoors. Our home is situated near a big town, (15mins walk) but we have a horse yard and farm so it is very open and loads of space. There is also a 3rd level college locate right beside our house (2min walk) if you wish to avail of an evening course. Everyday at our house can be different. We buy horses from all around Ireland and we sell them all over the world. So our house and yard can be busy some days with clients and then quiet other days.We have clients that travel from the UK, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, USA and UAE. We are also on the road alot, attending sale, horse shows and hunts. Our oldest son is very active from competing on his ponies, to swimming, football and other activities. So everyday is different but fun! Our oldest boy is in school everyday from 9.20am to 3pm and our middle boy is in preschool, 9.30am to 12pm. Jessica our little girl is at home full time, she is very easy going and is so happy all the time. You will be required to help out with the kids, mainly the younger 2 but at times all 3. I am busy with my oldest boy so I need someone at home to mind the younger 2. You will also need to help out with some light house work, tidying up after the kids and keeping things organised. We would require you to have experience in nannying,child care, au pair or babysitting work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You must like animals and experience around a farm or horses would be very beneficial. You will not be required to do anything with the animals but my kids love them so you will be around them. You will be required to be flexible with your times and days that you are available. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: Child minding with some cleaning and general housekeeping. However your main responsibility is the kids, once these are looked after everything else will follow. It will be mainly the younger two children that will need taking care of but on occasion it will be all 3. A Certificate in Child Care, First Aid and a driver’s licence is NOT required but any of these will be highly regarded. As we have a lot of horses their will be an opportunity for you to learn how to horse ride if you wish. Also due to the nature of our business there will be an opportunity for you to travel around Ireland and see the country.
