Live in dog sitter position, full-time. The owner works shifts and needs a responsible pet-sitter to look after a giant breed (IKC registered pedigree) between the house, rear yard, and walks etc., while she is at work. Garda clearance will be required, and employee refs. with previous experience. The owner works in the area of health, and shift work takes place at different times in the day. A monthly roster will be given in advance, where the service provider will be expected to live-in and provide services. These will comprise, keeping the puppy company during periods of the owner's absence, feeding, walking, and following training guidelines. It may be that veterinary visits could be required the odd time, therefore a car owner is needed, to bring the puppy to the vet if required. The vet is only a 20 minute drive from the home. The home is situated opposite the beach in North County Dublin, near all amenities and within a 20-30 minute drive of Dublin city. The service provider will need to sign up to a fixed-term contract which will include terms for living in. The dog is currently a puppy, and will need to follow the training guidelines which the service provider is expected to follow with the dog. An information booklet will be available to the service provider. This will outline the needs of the puppy. Free accommodation will be given in exchange for services. The service provider will still share house bills, so the payment is in the form of free monthly rent only in exchange for a live-in service. Bills are electricity, gas and weekly bins; these are reasonable and equally divided between all occupants of the house, which will total three, including the service provider. There is free internet included. The position is available for 12 months initially, and may be for longer if the service provider is available for longer and gets on well.
