Hi, we are a professional couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced childminder to care for our two young children – a seven-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl in Malahide. You will be a childminder with at least 1 years’ experience in childcare/teaching work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and patient. You will be required to work from 2pm to 7pm, with occasional evenings/school holidays. Our son would get picked up at 2.30pm from the local school, and our daughter would get picked up at 4.30pm from after school club. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. Your responsibilities will include: Light housework, homework, playing, occasional afterschool activities, making/serving dinner, and sometimes bedtime prep. You will need a current First Aid certificate (or willing to get one), Garda Vetting (or willing to apply), and a clean, valid driver’s licence. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded as will experinece working with neurodivergent children, and having your own vehicle.
