We are a farming family living on the outskirts of Dublin near the village of Dunboyne. My husband family have farmed here for many years. We are a family of 6 – 2 girls (3 and 8) and 2 boys (12, 14). So as you can imagine it's a very busy family but we are a very loving, kind and open family. The children are full of fun and adventure, they are very active between rugby, pony riding and swimming. We love meeting new people and love being social. Our lives are centered around family and it is extremely important to us to eat together as a family, to talk and communicate together. We are looking for someone who is active, enjoys the outdoors and loves children and Ponies and animals!! We are looking for someone who likes the countryside and like the farming way of life or someone who would like to experience our way life. We are looking for someone who is caring, responsible and has some experience with child care. I am a primary school teacher in the local school so I am gone each day from about 8 until 4. Sometimes it can be earlier or sometimes later if I have meetings. I will have 4 children in 4 different schools next year so I now need someone to be in the house and ideally who can drive but his is not essential. I need someone who can mind Carolyn in the morning and then bring her to her playschool, then do some light house work and general house keeping and laundry while she is in school. Also at this time I like the dinner to be prepared and maybe other tasks may be required as deemed necessary eg doing online shop etc. Carolyn is home around 1.30/2 and she will need a snack and then to be minded (go outside, baking, cooking, playing with her toys, reading etc.) until Lillian comes home around 3/3.30. Lillian (age 8) will then need a snack and help with her homework. I am generally home around 4 but on Tuesdays this is later as we have staff meeting etc. We like to limit the amount of time spent on screens. So only in the evening before bed are they allowed T.V. Xbox is only allowed at the weekend.
