Holiday cover needed whilst my partner and I take a break for 2 weeks at the end of Sptember. We live on a small farm in The West Of Ireland overlooking the Ox Mountains. We have 4 much loved dogs, 4 horses, around 250 hens, 14 ducks and a gander! We neeed someone to live in and take over our lives. Must and be prepared to keep the poultry nesting boxes clean and collect eggs twice daily. Eggs are delivered to homes in Tubbercurry once a week and we need someone who can manage this. A car driver is essential as we live in a remote area. Our home is dog friendly and cosy and whilst we are not obsessive about house work, we would need someone to keep on top of the cleaning. Food or an allowance will be provided and we can offer a small payment. We would ideally like to offer a working holiday arrangement as there will be plenty of time for you to chill out and just spend time with the animals. We want the person who comes to spend as much time as possible at the farm but by all means take some time out to explore the beautiful area we live in. Someone with a knowledge of horses is preferable although they will be at grass and requiring minimal attention.
