My name is Eloisa I've been in Ireland since february. I finished two modules of Fetac Level 5, Care Skills and Care of the older Person with Chevron Training, three weeks ago. And until 16 od octuber I can work full time, because it's my holliday time. I also have the manual handling ans patient moving with DML Training. I've been working in a part time job as care assistance since June. I'm brazilian and there I've trained as a Portuguese and Communication teacher, I worked with teenagers for the last three years and we had a project to integrate young people with older people, the institution's elderly every fifteen days, the social activities: nail painting, show pictures, tell histories, dancing, talking. Help with the meals and showers, change of clothes, take to the bath, take for small walks in the garden. With this work I discovered how important is the interaction of the youngest with the elders and how important it is to care, especially of the people with the highest needs who need attention while they have so much to offer us of learning. I worked in this project for one years and I've discovered how much I enjoy helping people and looking for an opportunity in Ederly Care, so that I can feel fulfilled in this period in which I am here in Ireland.
