She underwent surgery to place a prosthesis in your leg because of arthrosis. The before and after surgery is always complicated, she needed special care and help in the bath and in the toilet. After that, unfortunately my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. A debilitating and distracting illness that involves the patient’s body and mind. I took care of her until her last days. I made her days happy and light. I took care of her body when her mind was no present. I take this experience as a way of personal growth. I understand that we will need help someday and that we should give love, kidness and patience as long as we are fit for it. In Ireland, through mindme, I took care of a 70-year-old man with problems very similar to my grandmother's. We talked and kept each other company. We had a very happy ending. The caring who needs special treatment it is important to listen and be present. The company often makes a difference in healing and well-being.
