Hello family, I am a nurturing, caring, efficient, friendly, happy person. I am honest and reliable and I pride myself in being patient. I love animals-especially dogs, I love children and I have great respect and empathy for elderly people. I am an active and healthy, mature woman. I changed careers in 2020 and left the hospitality industry to start on a new "Career" as a Care Giver/Health Care Assistant, which I feel is the same type of work, ensuring my employer/client is the best she or he can be, each day and is happy and secure, and taken care of in her / his own space. I am an Irish Citizen with an Irish Passport. I have dual citizenship Irish and South African. Used to physical work all my life as I have worked in operational departments in hospitality most of my working life - Housekeeping, Catering and welfare of guests and staff. I take great satisfaction in ensuring people around me are happy and my motto is to make wherever I am a better place. I have completed my Major Award QQi level 5 Health Care Assistant (in Ireland). I have also completed a 1 year Home Health Care certificate - distance learning and practical (in South Africa). I have also completed the St Johns Ambulance Home Care course and First Aid Level 1 Certificate. I have more than 3 years of professional experience caring for elderly as a live-in Care giver, in their homes, as well as in a nursing home, in Ireland. And I have a little experience (unpaid) caring for my elderly parents. I have lived in remote rural areas for most of my working life. I have a full ROI drivers license. I prefer country life, but was born and bred in a city and worked and lived in small towns so I am open to all possibilities.
