Hi there! My name is Fiona and I’m a 22 year old girl from Cork hoping to make the move to the Big Smoke in late May/Early June. I have just finished my Level 5 in Early Childhood Studies and I’d love to find a full time job (live out) with a family in Dublin. I’m a kind and reliable young woman and who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and children. I began babysitting casually when I was 17 for neighbours with children ranging from 3 months old right up to 9 years old. This is where I found my love of children and all things silly! And of course my 5 nieces and nephews arriving soon after in quick succession made me take a leap into a formal education! During my time in College of Commerce Cork I focused on and passed the following modules : Children with additional needs Child development •Early Years Care and Practice •Child Health and Well Being •Creative Arts •Play and Education •Communications •Work Experience My work experience was in a crèche outside Cork City (who have since offered me part time work) where I cared for children aged three months to 5 years and some children with additional needs. I open to different arrangements like overnights or some weekend work as well as Monday - Friday. Although I cannot drive I have no problem walking kids to school/crèche/Park etc. I’m open to some light housework, meal prep, cooking shopping etc.
