Thanks so much for clicking into my profile! Currently I am available for fixed dates or last minute sitting. I completed a fetac level 5 in nursing after school. I have just completed a First Aid course with The Order Of Malta and I was also a senior member of my local Red Cross group when I lived in Mayo so my knowledge of first aid is excellent. I am great with children of all ages due to my education in child development and previous work experience in two playschool's back home in Mayo! I have babysit children of my neighbors and surrounding families since i was 14 as well as varied work experience throughout education. I am not very flexible at the moment but I don't mind distance across the city. I love outdoors and try to encourage the children to get out too! Great with pets also! Excellent childminder
Shannon was our childminder for our 7-month-old son Sam for the last 2 months. Shannon was diligent, punctual, consistent and thorough in her role as child minder but more importantly, she was fun, engaged and caring towards Sam. Every morning that Shannon came to mind him, Sam’s face would light up and he would squeal with delight. Shannon always kept an eye out for development and growth progress, communicating them to us daily along with his schedule and mood for the day. We are very sad to see Shannon go as she has been such a help to our family. If it were not for a change in circumstances, we would be happy to have Shannon as our childminder and will likely rely on her in the future for short term or casual childminding.

Shannon helped us with a last-minute gap in childcare and minded our 3 kids over a few weeks. She was really flexible and reliable, great with the kids and so helpful around the house. She has a lovely personality and a lot of experience with children.

Great, Responsible Babysitter
Shannon looked after our 7 month old fella for a day while we went to Dublin for a show. Right away, we could tell that he was going to get along fine with Shannon! Was smiling ear to ear as soon as she started talking to him :) It was our first time leaving him alone, so we were nervous enough, but Shannon kept us informed the whole time we were away, sending loads of pictures and updates, which made us feel so much better. We will definitely be hiring Shannon again to look after our little fella!
