I'm a friendly, experienced and responsible woman who loves children and has been babysitting since the 1990s, when I regularly minded my younger siblings and babysat for neighbours. More recently I have really enjoyed getting to know and taking care of my own nephew and my friends' children on a regular basis. I am open to all babysitting jobs however I would be most interested in occasional jobs in the evenings and at weekends, with advance notice, rather than committing to every single week. (My work and personal commitments vary from week to week.) This could make me a great back-up babysitter for you. I'm also prepared to offer competitive overnight and weekend rates with optional add-ons of minding the kids for a few hours the morning after your night out and/or cooking and serving you breakfast in bed! I am comfortable taking care of and entertaining babies, children and teenagers of all ages, no matter how many you have! I will admit to particularly enjoying looking after babies though and love the opportunity (and often the challenge!!!) to comfort, soothe and sing a young baby to sleep... I have my own car and will happily drive to anywhere within 20/30 minutes of Cork city for short jobs or 1 hour's drive for longer jobs. I also enjoy learning and practising foreign languages and have a basic level of familiarity with the following languages in case your young children do not speak much English... Irish, French, Dutch, Italian, German and Spanish. I'm also happy to help with homework if required. I look forward to hearing from you and discussing your babysitting and childminding needs :-)
