While learning the language and adapting to Ireland, I worked as a minder between two different families. Unsuitable for childminding
I could not recommend Monica as a childminder. She worked for a number of weeks for me and collected my daughter after school but that was the extent of her engagement with my children. She sat in another room watching her phone and sometimes having long phone calls with family in brazil. She rarely cooked for my children and commented on what they were eating and why it was wrong as she is a vegan. Despite saying this was not an issue when I interviewed her. She has no idea how to connect with and care for children. She did not help with homework, not engage in play, initiated no activities. avoid as she is not a suitable childminder.
