Dear Parents, I am a very dedicated and fun minder who loves arts and crafts, planning outdoors, going to the park and playground, organising play dates with other minders, trying to keep the same group of children in touch. One of my favorite places for outdoor activities and to spend a sunny day out are Dun Laoghaire, Airfield, Phoenix Park, Dublin Zoo and Sandymount Beach. When I am indoors I enjoy playing games, reading books and singing songs... Although I never organise a day on my own and I like giving the children space to speak up whether they prefer doing! I also have got experience as a babysitter minding babies and toddlers overnight for different families. I was in charge of their bad time, overnight and morning routine while parents were out. A bit more about me... enthusiasm and positivism are the characteristics that I most like about my personality. Besides, I'm easy going, dependable, responsible and communicative person. All long the three years in Dublin I've been working as an Au Pair (I'm Brazilian) for two different Irish families. In my first Au Pair 'live out' role I used to mind two siblings, 7 and 9 year old. The routine was basically to collect the children at school, prepare lunch, help with their homework, bring them to extra activities, give a hand with light housework. Also sleepover if needed. Over 2 years I have been working as Au Pair 'live in' minding a lovely toddler boy (nearly 3 years) and his little sister (18 months). We have a very busy routine, we also spend our mornings at the playground close to the house, bring him to swimming and music classes, playgroup and outdoor activities. Besides I always organise play dates with other minders and babies to encourage his social skills. In my free time I enjoy long walks by the sea and mountains, listening to music, baking, watching a good movie and good coffee! At the moment I'm looking for babysitting on the weekends.
