Dear Family, Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. My name is Marina Segade White, and I came from Spain. I just finished my Degree of Architecture by the University of Valladolid, Spain. I am 26 years old. I live in Salamanca, a small, paceful region at West Spain. I live with my family: my mum, my father, a cat and a turtle. Recently, my sister has moved out, but I see her almost every day. After finishing Secondary school, I started my studies in architecture. in 2015, I went to Porto as Erasmus for one year, where I had the opportunity to learn from the Portuguese culture and language, as well as from many other students from abroad. But also, I was in England before. I stayed for 2 months at Bournemouth when I was 18, living with an English host family and having English courses too. I have plenty of experience with children; last year, I worked as a teacher of mathematics to children from elementary and secondary school. But the biggest experience, I got it from taking care of two little girls, aged 4 and 8 years, during several summers, some years ago. I was at the charge of carrying them to summer school, bringing them back, and sometimes taking them for a walk, or when her mother was busy. Dress and undress them, doing the breakfast, helping them with their homework,... I love children and I enjoy spending time with them. Aware of the responsibilities that I will have, I feel full of confident and capable of assuming this task. Working as Au Pair can be highly rewarding for both of us. Among your child, I want to share my experience, my knowledge of Spanish language and culture, and my perspective from outside Britain. While at the same time I want to enjoy learning English in the best, most comfortable atmosphere possible.
