Dear host family, I write this letter to present myself to you: my name is Claudia, I’m Italian. I live in a small touristic city, Rimini, that is on the Adriatic coast in Emilia Romagna in the north east of Italy. It’s famous for the sea and for its summer festivities. I just finished scientific high school A.Einstein and before I went to university, I wanted to take a gap year to clarify my ideas, and I hope that one of you will help me to take the opportunity! In Rimini I live in a nice flat near the center with my mom ,my dad and my twin sister Giorgia, we have a great relationship and we spend a lot of time together. My dad is a dentist and my mom at the moment is an housewife. I've two other sisters too, bigger than me, we are a very united family. We also own a country house where we like to reunite during the holidays. My older sister is a graduate in medicine and is now she is studying dentistry, and the other is studying dentistry in Spain, more precisely in Valencia. Maybe I will do as she do, but I also love psychology. I think I'm taken for this discipline because I am empathic person and I’m always available to listen to others and solve their problems. I love children, I have known kids in different parts of the world through volunteering projects! At seventeen, I was in Brazil for three weeks in the month of July because my school gives this opportunity at me and others students. We stayed in the cities of Fortaleza and Iguatu in the state of Ceara at the north of Brasil. We were welcomed into the nuns' house and we played with the kids who were taken from the street to teach him to read and write and to give him a better future. This summer I was in Africa with my dad for two weeks. We have been in a trophic orphan and we worked as volunteers in a missionary hospital in Sagakope, in the south of Ghana. I was my father's assistant when he was working.Volunteering is my passion and I hope I can do it for the rest of my life! Last summer I worked as an animator at the beach 85a. This is a very common job for Rimini girls during the summer and is easy to find. I have to look for the children to the sea and play with them! This work has allowed me to learn so many laboratories to entertain children like salt pasta, painting, make them their favorite mask or various constructions with paper. I have always tried to accommodate foreign children in the group, striving to communicate with them. My owner is very happy with me and thank me every day for my commitment. I am a affectionate girl and have a maternal instinct towards the children I care for. With these personal experiences I have been able to compare the different attitudes of children from different parts of the world. In my free time I often go to visit places outside my city because I like travelling. I love hiking and walking so much in contact with nature! I love sunrises and sunsets for the magical atmosphere they create! All this makes me feel free and without negative thoughts. So I hope to find a family with my own interests to share fantastic experiences together and become friends! I’m sweet, responsible, willing and creative. This experience can serve to mature, to become more independent, to create individual thinking and goals in life.I don't smoke and I don't have a guy.I help my mom work at home like cooking, ordering my bedroom, putting on clothes, setting up and cleaning the table, cleaning dishes, etc. My biggest fear of this experience is to be exploited and become the housekeeper. I'm also afraid not to finish my travel goals. In fact, when I have time I would take advantage of it to know so many new places! I'm allergic to dust but little. I have no health problems. I do not have the license but I only miss the practice exam and in school I have studied the emergency room. I hope you believe in my words and I would like to have the opportunity to prove it.
