Ian a fully qualified social care practitioner and also a fully qualified health care assistant. I would consider myself to be a very kind, caring and understanding individual , i had been working in am in a nursing home as a social care practitioner up until its closer in March . Previous to this I was working as a healthcare assistant in another nursing home. I have experience caring for the older person in a nursing home setting and also day services for persons with intellectual disabiltys ,i practice a holistic approach to caring for every individual I work with and have a good knowledge of the social and emotional needs of the older person along with their personal care needs , i have a degree in social social studies in social care and also a level 5 in community health care ,I have experience of working with behaviors that challenge , i also have experience with working with individuals with dementia, acquired brain injury, mobility issues, cognitive impairments, autism and intellectual disabiltys . I have a huge passion for working with people and am dedicated to providing the best possible care to the people i work with .
