Hi there! My name is Zara and I am a qualified Special Needs Assistant (QQI Level 5 and 6) and a graduate in Drama and Theatre Studies from Trinity College Dublin (First class honour Bachelor's degree). I have been working with children for the past five years both child minding for various families and working in primary schools (in both mainstream and autism units) primarily as a substitute SNA in St. Joseph's N.S Rathwire and St. Tola's N.S Delvin. Due to my substitute position within schools I am Garda vetted. I am a very creative person and love children and generally they seem to love me too! I always go out of my way to treat the children I mind with care and respect, because they deserve to feel safe and know that they have a friend in me as well as a responsible adult when in my care. My duties when childminding or working within schools have ranged from cooking, cleaning, helping the children with school work, collection and drop off to/from school, toileting , and lastly entertainment to keep things fun!
