Hello! This is Jessica Molesini, a 23 years old girl from Italy who is currently living her 2 last months in Seattle, WA as an Au Pair. I will be moving to Dublin in March 2019 as a student at Dublin Institute of Design, but I will be able to work full time too. Let me tell you my story. I graduated form high school in 2014, I have a degree in Foreign Languages (english, spanish and french). Right after that, I have been working, getting jobs for a construction company and changed to work in two different restaurants to earn money and be independent. Thanks to this, I was able to get my stuff and paper ready to move to the US, where I have been living since July 2016 taking care of children. As an au pair in this family, I am responsible of 2 girls, 7 and 9 years old (4 and 6 when I first got here). I have to multitask between lots of duties: morning routine, such as getting ready for school, prepare lunchboxes, driving, cooking, plan activities, make sure their doctor appointments are booked and so it is for sports. When the girls are at school I clean up the house and organize their toys, books and clothes. I drive about 2 hours daily, I thought the little one how to read and I am pretty active, which means I like and want the kids to spend time outside or even doing art projects. We make science experiments as well! We oftentimes have playdates and I am used to having even 4 or 5 kids with me if there is an occasion. My approach to kids is always friendly and I like to make sure they are comfortable with me, since I have to be a role model (they get to spend lots of time with the nanny). However, I am strict when it comes to good behavior and following the rules. Positive discipline is the way to go. No hurting each other, speak up and always have an open communication to build a trustworthy relationship between people is something I look forward to at all times. Let's get creative together! I am working on becoming an Illustrator, so I my personality is very, very creative and I like original things. More details about myself: I play guitar, ukulele, practice kickboxing and swimming! Prior to this main experience, I have worked for two summers in a row as camp counselor (age of kids 5-10) and baby sat for a single mom. I am young, but the energies are not missing. Bilingual.
