Dear Family, My name is Mariana, I'm 35 years old with a degree in Tourism. I’m living in Dublin for seven years working as a child minder. It’s an incredible opportunity to improve my English and experience new cultures. I have a good background in looking after children between 1 and 12 years old. My first experience as a Child Minder was with a family in Dublin 15. I looked after a 9-year-old girl and 2 boys aged 5 and 6 years old. I worked there for almost a year. In my second position, I minded 3 children (3, 6 and 8 years old). My duties were bring and collect them from extra activities (dance, rugby, playground and playgroup), make lunches, give a bath, put to bed, organize playdates and sometimes babysitting. I worked for this family for 1 year and 2 months. My third position I've been for 19 months in Dublin 16, I’m looking after two twin boys (Andrew and Matthew) of 6 years old. My duties are to collect the boys from school, bring to extra activities (computer class, gym, speech & drama) and prepare meals. In my fourth position I was looking after one girl (8 years old) and a boy (9 years old). My duties are to collect the kids from school, bring to extra activites (ballet, playdates etc), and prepare meals. In my current position I’m looking after one girl (12 years old) and a boy (9 years old). My duties are to collect the kids from school, bring to extra activites (Swimming, piano, dog walking, playdates etc), and prepare meals. With all the families, I love to play with the kids in the park or at a playground. We also go to the cinema and to do arts & crafts every day. In my spare time I like to travel, listen to music, do sports, watch movies and TV shows, besides being in the company of family and friends. I am very interested in photography, culture and talking about almost everything. I’m smart, organized and a responsible person, as well as a quick learner.
