Hi, I'm a qualified General Registered Nurse, Bsc Honours since 2010, with plenty of varied experience. I am friendly, professional and hard working. I worked in a Nursing Home as a student nurse at the weekends from age 18 and did home care help at the weekends all through the 4 years of College. I loved getting to really know the residents and clients and helping them with all their activities of daily living to be as independent, healthy and happy as they could be. To me that was the most rewarding, fulfilling work I have ever done. I worked in a large public hospital in Dublin for 3 years full-time as an Oncology /General Medicine Nurse when i qualified in 2010. I then worked in a private hospital in an Orthopedic ward part time the last 5 years until last year. I have 2 young children, one of which has special needs, I gave up work to care for him a year ago but really miss my work. I also helped look after my own Grandparents who were 89 and 92, ( my granny is the lovely lady In my profile picture ) who lived close to us and were poorly for some years. I helped with their care needs, dressings and home needs weekly. I have plenty of elderly care experience with having worked in many Care of the Older Persons wards as part of my 4 years nurse training. I'm looking for weekday evening care work anytime after 7pm or mornings 10-12am school term only or weekend hours. I am willing to travel within about a half hour from Dublin 13 for work.
