I have always loved children. From the age of 16 I have child minded a range of families. I consider myself a sociable, relaxed and hard working individual. I study law at Trinity College and think it is very important to strike a balanced work ethic with college work and that of outside employment. Not only do I have experience with children in their own homes. I also have an extensive range of experience with children who suffer from learning or physical disabilities. From the age of 17 I volunteered weekly at Flemming Fulton school in which I would assist children with a range of disabilities in their artwork, spellings and other lessons. Furthermore, I taught young adolescents with down syndrome to swim for two years in Belfast Olympia Leisure Centre. In February 2015 I travelled to Deli, India to volunteer in a children's centre in the slums of Kalkaji. I consider such a varied range of experience from learning difficulties, language barriers, differing involvement of parents and settings as essential to my understanding of children and efficient care to provide. I have also held a full driving license for three years and have a car in Dublin. I am happy to complete school drop off and pick ups, house keeping duties, meal prep, help with home works, errands or anything else that is required.
