Hello! My name is Mônica, I’m from Brazil and I am 30 years old. Im an experienced Au Pair looking for a new Family that would need some help minding their kids during the mornings and/ or weekends. Im also available in the afternoons while i’m on holidays from school. I’m in Ireland for 6 months studying English (level advanced). I have been living with a lovely Irish Family for 5 months, working as an Au pair live in minding two lovely kids, aged 7 and 9. Unfortunatelly, I had to leave because they don’t need my help anymore, since the kid’s mommie quit her job and is home now. I also had been taking care of my younger sister since she was born, helping mom in the first 4 months, and then, when she had to go back to work, full time in everything my sister needed (meals, bath, spending quality time, etc) until she was 3 years old. We are very close to each other since forever, we used to play and sing together, I used to read books for her, always teaching her important values for a child’s upbringing. It was a very rewarding personal experience, fundamental in my life to discover the affection I have for the kids and to develop my childcare skills. With my first Irish host family, I’ve been learning a lot about Irish family values, their culture and all the respect and love involved in it.
