Kia ora/Hey there, My name is Lucy, I am a 24 year old female looking for some overseas work experience in your beautiful Country. I have always loved Ireland and have some family here which has pushed me to come on an extended working holiday and further explore your wonderful part of the world as well as meet and care for some fabulous children. I am looking for a 3-4 month contract starting mid August through until mid December 2019. I would love a ‘live in’ position with preferably weekends off, but of course happy to do occasional weekend babysitting. I am a qualified early childhood educator with 6 years experience as a teacher in a centre and have loved it! I consider myself a ‘heart centred’ teacher and always have the needs of the children in my care at the heart of what I do. I have done nannying and babysitting throughout my life and have been surrounded by younger cousins and a large family all my life which I feel very blessed for. I am a passionate, motivated, honest and positive person, always keen to learn and keep busy. My hobbies include any outdoor adventures, sports or exercise. I also love watching movies and having down time. Animals have also been a huge part of my life so I do enjoy learning about and caring for animals too. I enjoy spending time with children, caring for them and watching them learn, grow and succeed. I like to challenge children and support them to reach their goals and aspirations. I believe I am approachable, respectful and bubbly, especially around children which usually helps to foster a lovely relationship.
