Hello Dear Family, My name is Brenda, I'm 21 years old and I'm actually living in Dublin to learn English. I've decide to do this exchange after I finished my graduation in Foreign Trade in the end of 2015. I think learn English for 8 months only in the school is not enough to be fluent, then I want to work as babysitters to improve what I've learn language and know more about differents cultures. My name is Brenda and I’m 21 years old. I live in Blumenau, a medium city in Santa Catarina state, Southern Brazil, which has a little bit more than 300 thousand in habitants; it's a city colonised by Germany and known for your typical Oktoberfest and the terrible flood that happened in 2008. I live with my mother, Deisi, she’s 44 years old, she is child's teacher and very helpful. My father is 50 years old, he’s a driver, he is a very worker man, companion and very patient, and my little brother, he's 12 years old and currently is learning English, I'm so proud of him. My first experience with children was when I was 6 and I used to help my mom in her job. Following her example, I used to play with my dolls imagining that I was a teacher. When I was 8, my brother was born and my mom was doing her graduation so I'd to care him while she was studying, giving some meals and changing the nappy. It was an important moment in my life, because made me grow up earlier and faster. One month after my brother had born, my first cousin was born, so I used to spend my time in my holidays helping my aunt as well. Eight years after this, when I was 16, my aunt gave birth triplets, and I participated all of the moments, since the pregnant test until now. Certainly, it was the most different and excited experience of my life, because to take care of one child is ok, two is complicated, but three, can you imagine how was it? Three delicates little princess. They were born on March, so every weekend I used to go my aunt's house to help her, apart to help with the babys, I also cleaned the home and made our meals. Since they were born I usually to spend my free time playing with them, going to the shopping, dancing, taking a shower together - we always making a big messy, it's so funny and I can come back to my childhood. In my last job, I worked as a secretary, but it was in my aunt's office, and apart the office, I had to take care of her bank accounts, bills and schedules. Apart of this responsibilities, I had to work as a minder of my cousin. She is 10 years old and we’re very similar, both of us use glasses. I’d to help her in homework, shopping clothes, making meals and playing a lot. Every Friday I used to take she at school, carry to some restaurant and after this I waited she finished her guitar class. So, we went to the office for to do her homework or another activities from school. When all of this duties had finished, we went to home, and I had to leave her in the bathroom, brush her hair and choose your clothes, she is a kind of sister for me. I miss too much my babys, all of them, the girls and the boy, they are my treasure. I thik that I'm so friendly with children, because inside I'm still a child :) And children are so adorable and opened, especially if they can teach something, I would like to learn with love and fun. Now I’m excited waiting for your contact, so then you can make my dream come true. I want to meet different places and a different way of life in your family, which will make part of my life and it will be unforgettable!
