My name is Monica, I am 28 years old, married and an English student in the mornings and with an intermediate level of English. My story: I have always believed that working with children is more than just a job. It is a way of caring, teaching, and building meaningful connections. My journey with children started in 2021, when I worked at a children’s recreation space called “Sabidinhos” in my hometown in Brazil. The space had around 10 children, and I was responsible for creating and organizing their daily routine, including games, activities, nap time, meals, and hygiene care. It was there that I discovered my passion for childcare and realized how much I enjoyed being part of children’s development and everyday lives. After that experience, I started studying Early Childhood Education (Pedagogy) and, in 2024, I joined a bilingual school called EIPG, a very respected school in the region where I lived, in Atibaia, São Paulo, Brazil. There, I worked as a teaching assistant, supporting children with their daily routines, care, and hygiene, while also learning more about the educational and emotional development of young children. In 2025, I was promoted to become responsible for my own classroom, a position I held until May 2026, when I decided to move to Ireland with my husband. During my years working with children, I learned the importance of patience, respect, affection, active listening, and creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can feel loved and supported. I would love the opportunity to work as a babysitter in Ireland because caring for children is something that truly brings me joy and purpose. I believe my experience, my background in education, and my genuine love for children allow me to provide not only safe care but also meaningful moments of learning, creativity, and emotional support.
