Hi! My name is Anna, and I'm originally from Sudan but grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Last year, I moved to Dublin to pursue my Master's in Accounting and Analytics at Trinity College Dublin. Outside of my studies, one of the things I enjoy most is working with children. I've been caring for children for many years in a variety of settings. During high school, I worked as an Arabic teacher at the Sudanese American Sunday School in Richmond, where I taught young children and built strong relationships with families in the community. Through those connections, I regularly babysat for parents from the school, as well as for family members and family friends. From 2023 to 2024, I also worked in the Sudanese American School's daycare, caring for children of different ages in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. In addition, I was a camp counselor for Henrico County's Summer Blast primary school summer camp, where I planned activities, supervised children, and helped create a positive experience for every child. My professional background has also reinforced my sense of responsibility and trustworthiness. I've worked in schools supporting children with behavioural needs, and I've held several government and care positions where I was entrusted with transporting and supporting vulnerable individuals. These roles required patience, excellent judgment, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety—qualities I bring to every family I work with. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, whether that's helping with homework, playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading stories, or simply making sure they feel safe and cared for. I love learning about different cultures and creating positive connections with the families I meet. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children, and I take that responsibility seriously.
