My name is Anita. I have been working in the childcare industry for over a decade in varying roles (most recently Educational Leader and teacher) across various age groups (newborn to teens). I qualified as an Early Childhood Teacher in 2006 and spent the last 12 years in Australia. I completed my paediatric first aid, along with Asthma, epi pen, defibrillater, and adult/baby cpr training in January 2018. In the last decade I have completed numerous courses and training in the field of education and care. I have a full driving licence and my own car. Whilst working with children I am a firm believer of engaging with the child rather than “just babysitting” and just watching them from a distance. I like to ensure that they are entertained so I enjoy providing activities for them to engage with and organising things for them to do. As I have a 2 year old myself I am looking for a position that will allow me to take her with me during weekdays, but she wouldn’t be with me for evening/night/weekend times. If you have something suitable I’d love to hear from you. Please also note, having my little one with me will not compromise the quality of care and attention that I intend to give to your children.
