We are currently looking for a childminder for our 5yo son, who has diagnosed ASD (we also suspect ADHD), so Special Needs experience is essential. He is L2, high functioning, verbal. About our little dude: LOVES science, being outside exploring and finding bugs, loves knowing about the human body. Struggles with transitions both horizontal and vertical so you need to be fun and able to gamify on the spot. Is a chatterbox and adores nothing more than a real and genuine connection with you, will be super excited to explain his latest creation so you better pay attention! He's on the spectrum so he's a super special guy who needs an outlet to stim. His favourite types of stims are spinning and occasionally shouting. Loves Minecraft, super mario, dressing up, rainbows, science, robotics, being tickled, playing zombies or monsters, dancing... He attends school until 1.45, so it would be from 2-5/5.30pm or so, midweek. Potentially looking for full-time over the summer. We are based in the Corbally/Westbury area of Limerick/Clare.
