SPANISH-SPEAKING HOME HELP & CHILDCARE – BLACKROCK, CO. DUBLIN. Essential hours 2.30pm to 7.30pm. We’re a friendly, busy family in Blackrock Village, looking for a reliable and caring Spanish-speaking home help/childcare assistant to support our 7-year-old daughter (who loves learning, dancing, and sports) and to help keep our household running smoothly. ABOUT THE ROLE >>CHILDCARE: Collect our daughter from school (14:30), keep her safe and happy, support her Spanish, bring her to activities/friends, cook meals for her and the family. >>HOME HELP: Shopping, meal prep, laundry, light cleaning/tidying, household organisation, plus the occasional small admin task (bookings, scheduling). WHAT WE OFFER --> Steady contract ~20 hrs/week (€17/hour) --> Paid holidays & flexible scheduling (great for students or those with morning jobs) --> Training + ongoing support so you feel relaxed and confident --> A welcoming home where you’ll be treated like part of the family --> Excellent location: 6 min walk from Blackrock DART + multiple bus routes WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR --> Native Spanish speaker with good English --> Loves children: patient, fun, warm --> Ideally have an EU driving licence --> Organised, reliable, proactive COMMITMENT We’d love someone who can stay until at least the end of school June 2026 (ideally longer) to build a strong relationship with our daughter and feel settled. 👉 If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you!
