*** Full Time Position starting July/August 2025*** We are a social, transatlantic couple (Irish man married to an Italian-American woman) with four fun-loving boys, including an 8 year old, twin 5-year olds (6 in September), and a 3 year old. Our younger twin wears cochlear implants and has mild autism. We are full-time professionals in flexible careers that allow working from home. We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and interactive childminder who can come to our home Monday to Friday 11 to 6:30pm during the school term and 9am to 6pm over school holidays. Occasional additional evening hours (once per week) and at the weekend are also available. Guarantee 175 hours per month. Mornings will be dedicated to light housework, with afternoons dedicated to school runs and interactive play with the children - in the house, the 'Art Attic', back garden, local parks, local library, and other fun adventures. The boys also have a couple after-school activities that require drop-off / collection in the nearby village, e.g. piano lessons. Duties and Responsibilities: General childcare, indoor and outdoor recreational activities, meal / snack preparation, and light housework (washing dishes, wiping counters, putting kids' laundry away). Guiding / supervising children in their daily tasks and chores (homework, tidying toys, setting the table, brushing teeth, dressing, toileting, organising books). Must Have: 2+ years experience in childcare with a love of children, Garda vetted, comfortable riding an electric bike with kids, and non-smoking. References required. Nice to Have: Understanding or awareness of deaf community (e.g. interest in speech and language development or sign language) would be welcome but is not required. Willingness to learn about neurodivergence (e.g. autism, ADHD) would also be appreciated. Passion for healthy cooking would be an extra bonus for this foodie household! :)
