CARERS REQUIRED Annaghdown, Galway CURRENT TIMES LEFT TO FILL Tuesday - 6pm to 9pm Thursday - 6pm to 9pm Saturday - 10am to 6pm Sunday - 10am to 6pm I am looking for carers to look after my Dad (80). Live-in care is NOT an option for us. He has poor mobility. He gets out onto his chair and needs help with exercises and small walks every 1-2 hours. He is a very pleasant, kind and gentle man who likes chatting and meaningful engagement. He is quite anxious - a worrier! Carer MUST have patience and kindness to constantly reassure him that everything is ok. My Dad is not vaccinated in case this is important to you. 10am to 6pm shift - You will be required to get the patient up from bed, wash/change patient (with another person) and prepare meals and snacks as required throughout the day. Also regular exercises and walks. My healthy Mum will also be around the house and sharing the kitchen. My husband, kids and I live in adjoining house so always plenty of people around. Only genuine, patient, pleasant, kind-hearted carers should apply. Good sense of humour and ability to have a good laugh absolutely essential. House located in Annaghdown countryside.
