About JobBack to Top
We are in search of an enthusiastic and caring friend to join our family and help with the kids. Our daily routine revolves around creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our kids. As an au pair, you'll play a vital role in engaging them in age-appropriate games, creative play, storytime and outdoor adventures. During nap time (typically 3-4 hours), you'll have a chance to recharge, and we encourage you to use this time for personal interests and relaxation. As Conor and Claire return from work and the day comes to an end, we wind down with bath time, family dinners, and bedtime rituals that include bedtime stories. Tasks, schedule and pocket money - Morning routine assistance: Helping the toddlers get ready in the morning, including dressing them, brushing their teeth, and preparing breakfast. - Playtime and interactive activities: Engaging the toddlers in age-appropriate games, educational activities, and creative play to foster their development and curiosity. - Outdoor supervision: Accompanying the toddlers during outdoor play, meeting with toddler friends, ensuring their safety, and encouraging physical activities. - Meal preparation: Assisting with preparing nutritious and balanced meals and snacks for the toddlers throughout the day. - Feeding: Helping to feed the toddlers and encouraging good eating habits during meal times. - Naptime routines: Following naptime schedules to ensure the toddlers sufficient sleep. - Light housekeeping: Tidying up after the children's activities, cleaning up their play area, and ensuring the home remains orderly. - Bathing and bedtime routines (occasionally): Assisting with bathtime and getting the toddlers ready for bed, including reading bedtime stories. - Safety supervision: Ensuring a safe environment for the toddlers at all times, both inside and outside the house. - Laundry: Helping with the toddlers' laundry, folding and putting away their clothes. - Communication: Keeping open communication with Conor and Claire about the children and any concerns that may arise. - Cultural exchange: Sharing your own language and culture with the toddlers and introducing them to new experiences.
