Hi there, I am Mary. I live near Ballineen and work in Bandon Co. Cork. I am hoping to find a patient and kind person, perhaps two people to work with my mother in law Gisela who is 89 years young. She lives alone in Skibbereen and has some home help through the HSE. It would be great to find someone who could offer some companionship. She is originally from Germany and moved here to live close to my ex-husband Joe at the age of 82. He, very unfortunately passed away just a year after she arrived. It would be hugely advantageous, though not necessary to understand or speak a little German. If anyone would be willing to bring her shopping or perhaps on short trips out of the house it would be great. She also needs a little help maintaining her meticulously well kept household. We are preempting Gisela's slowly growing level of needs, and would hope to establish a relationship with a carer and/or cleaner in order to empower her to live alone for as long as possible.
