My name is Eleanor and I'm a personal assistant to Maire and Dave. Dave has an acquired brain injury and needs help with all activities of daily living such as showering, toileting, transferring and occupying him during the day. Carer would need to take Dave out in his adapted van for outings and would need a full drivers licence. At present we need a carer to work 1-6pm on Wednesdays, and 3-10pm on Sundays. We pay rates comparable to the basic HSE rates. PPS number is needed as it is taxable pay. Sometimes we also need relief cover but this is negotiable.
