This is a live-in Home Share Accommodation-Work Exchange for my elderly mother starting in July or August (date to be discussed). The salary is the accommodation and utilities. We provide accommodation and, in return, we require the person to do about 1 hour elderly care and very light housework per evening and some other light housework during the week. This means accompanying my mother to bed between 10pm & 11.30pm, prompting with certain personal care and helping change clothes, locking up at night and some light home organisation. The person is free to work elsewhere during the day, from 6.30am/7am (We have a daily home care package in place). We would ideally appreciate that the person returns home not later than 8.30pm. We do have a housekeeper, but there would be some other things to do during the week such as hoovering and maintaining cleanliness. There is a lovely, big bedroom looking out on to a big back garden. You have space in the fridge and kitchen for cooking and use of all equipment. Generally, there are no utility bills to pay but we will require proof of insurance for damage to property. The area is quiet with lovely neighbours. Details of time and nights off to be discussed.
