Hi There! :) We are looking for a minder to look after Annabelle from March 2026, full time, in our home. Me (Aimee) and Clifford (her Dad) are usually at work out of the home sometimes work from home. Annabelle’s minder now will finish her visa by then. Annabelle will turn 2 in February. We are looking for somebody who will be able to work a flexible 40 hour week, some early starts, a couple of evenings. Maybe a weekend day here or there. We are looking for someone long term ideally, but up to a year is fine. Due to the nature of the role, we will only consider applicants already living in Ireland so that we can meet in person for interviews. Finding the right match for our family is really important for us. We are looking for somebody who: -Has close to perfect English -Will fulfil a Nanny role aka take care of baby, cook food for her, take her on outings, do her laundry. Play and have fun. - Has experience with little babies - Is punctual, and can follow directions and is able to think independently too. - Can cook, mostly for the baby but also generally to have some interest and ability. - Understands boundaries within the home and the need for privacy - this goes both ways of course. - Is strong, fit and healthy as Annabelle is getting bigger and requires energy. - Someone fun, who likes to dance with the baby and play silly games, and lots of times we have family over with their kids, so someone who likes lots of kids around is a great match. - Is able to clean, do laundry (for the baby), and generally is not shy to help around the house (we have a very regular cleaner so its not a big focus but I consider it respectful that everyone helps out) such as a quick tidy in the hallway or changing the bins or toilet roll. A little about us: I'm an outgoing, chatty and a bit bossy (ooops!) business owner with two coffee shops and looking to grow my business. I love to dance in the kitchen with Annabelle, cook, focus on work and meeting up with family and friends. I have a lot of experiencing hiring people for the coffee shops so hopefully I can be a good communicator and a good friend to the Nanny while we all learn all the things about the baby life. Im a real people person, but sometimes work is so social that at home (especially in the morning) I can need just some space to wind down. Cliff is a little more on the serious side, and he is an Engineer who also deals with property. He will be less chatty but he is also the one to try to make everyone happy in his own way. He is a wonderful Dad, and he is happiest when he's had a good session at the gym or is planning something new for his work. He sings and plays guitar as his special interest and is an introverted personality with everyone (except Annabelle). The duties you'll be required to do will be looking after Annabelle, teaching her things, bringing her for walks, for swimming lessons, cleaning her clothes, making her meals, putting her to bed, giving her a daily bath, reading her books and most importantly being her friend. Some days will be long, others will be shorter - you need to be able to handle things with responsibility. We have had a live in Au Pair for Annabelle which has been a great success and she is wonderful with Annabelle so we do have experience now in this area. She will be leaving around Feb/March so we are looking to find someone as loving for Annabelle. The new position won’t be live in. Any questions please ask. Cheers, Aimee. :)
