Location: Balcarrick Co Dublin Duration: 3 weeks – from mid-July 2025 Live-in role (private room and full board provided) We are looking for a warm, reliable live-in carer to support our 92-year-old mother during a three-week period while the family is away. ⸻ About Our Mam: • 92 years old, living in her and our home • Mostly mobile around the house with gentle supervision • Enjoys company, routine, and kindness ⸻ Carer Responsibilities: • Personal care assistance if required (washing, dressing, toileting) • Companionship and reassurance, especially during evenings • Food preparation – simple meals, snacks, hydration • Light housework – tidying, laundry, kitchen upkeep • Ensuring safety overnight – being present and alert if needed (she may wake or become confused) ⸻ Support in Place: • Daily external carers visit for medication and some routine care • Family and neighbours are nearby and available in case of emergency • No medical duties required ⸻ What We Provide: • Comfortable private room and quiet environment • Food and utilities covered • Respectful, family-based home with clear handover notes and contact info ⸻ If you are kind, experienced, and have a calm, caring approach to dementia support, we’d love to hear from you.
