Hi, we are looking for afterschool care, Monday to Thursday until 18.00 from the end of August, for our twin daughters, aged 5, ideally in our home, which is in the Ballintemple area. One of our girls has ASD, and arrives in a taxi from special pre-school sometime between 14.45 and 15.00 on a typical day, the other is starting mainstream primary school in the area and would need to be picked up. For the mainstream school collection, this could be at 13.30 when school finishes, or later on after a period in the school's own after school care if that's too early to accommodate other work. If required, we can provide a car to use for someone over 25 with a clean EU license, otherwise own car would be preferable (we would provide seats). Duties would be preparing snacks, fun activities, any clean-up directly related to care of the girls, and working through any school-indicated exercises, or work from speech and language therapists etc. This might particularly suit an SNA who would have some interest in full-time hours on any school holiday period where we are not off ourselves, but we are happy to hear from any kind caring and patient individual who has experience of minding ASD kids (or other additional needs). Per above, this would be ~ 14-19 hours per week during term time, with additional hours available during some school holidays. Would love to hear from you, please get in touch.
