*Time sensitive hire. Please only apply if you are currently in Ireland and have a working visa* Our family is looking for an experienced carer to assist with the care of our mum who is in palliative care and returning home from hospital after 3 months. She is high needs and will be primarily resting within hospital bed in ground floor bedroom. She has limited use of her legs and is a fall risk. She requires oxegen both when mobilising and at rest. Your duties will include adjusting hospital bed and bedroom for comfort, preparing snacks and drinks, assisting in mobilising from bed to commode, personal care, light exercises, cleaning and organisation of care space, further general care duties as identified. This is a new care situation for all of the family and we need a steady, experienced set of hands to help with mums transition from hospital to home. The most important thing for us is mums comfort and safety, please only apply if you believe you can fulfill this job description. References are required and will be checked in full. In person interviews will be held. Hours listed are guideline for now - 7 days a week - primarily morning & afternoon with 2 overnights. Open to live-in applications.
